Also referred to as ECM reprogramming , ECM remapping is the process of optimizing an internal combustion engine’s performance by reprogramming its Engine Control Module (ECM). If you don’t know what an ECM is, it’s an onboard computer that controls and regulates the various actuators to ensure optimal performance.
